Direct Fire Protection Systems was incorporated in 2004 by partners who each have over 20 years of practical experience working in the fire protection industry. This knowledge was used to establish a company focused on providing detailed and professional inspections, testing, emergency service and repairs to all aspects of fire protection equipment.

We have been providing services to commercial, industrial and retail properties such as detention centers, courthouses, shopping centers, government facilities, and car manufacturing plants. Direct Fire works with customers to accommodate their schedules with minimal impact to their operations. The equipment we maintain for our customers encompasses a wide range of fire alarm panels – (from small simple panels to large, complex addressable systems) special hazard equipment, wet and dry sprinkler systems and portable fire extinguishers and fire hoses.

Direct Fire maintains comprehensive liability insurance (including failure to perform) and is a member in good standing with Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario. Our alarm technicians have a minimum of 3 years of experience, can be accompanied by a more senior person having up to 10-15 years of experience in the fire protection industry, are CFAA-Certified and are required to stay up-to-date with their membership and training. Our sprinkler fitters are journeymen with UA Local 853, have a minimum of 3 years inspection experience, and maintain good standing with their union.

Direct Fire Protection maintains excellent relationships with our suppliers so that we are able to provide expedient repairs of the fire protection equipment.
